Terms of Service
• Commissions are for personal use only. Artwork may be used as profile pictures/banners/backgrounds/printed with your own printer and posted on your fridge, but may not be used for profit. I.e You may not auction my work, resell it or trace it and then sell that traced work.• All rights to the art I create, including commissions, belong exclusively to me. Putting my work into any A/I engine is prohibited. You may neither sell nor exchange my art in any form, physical or digital, print or NFT, under any circumstances unless you have my express written permission and you have paid for the rights to do so.• I have the right to post the work you have commissioned from me on my social media and will do so at my own discretion unless requested otherwise.• I have the right to decline a commission for any reason. I may provide an explanation as a courtesy, but I am under no obligation to provide an explanation.• Please wait patiently for your commission to be finished. Give me four(4)-ish weeks to complete the commission. I will likely finish the commission before then but the time I take on it will depend on the complexity and my current workload. Commissions are First Come First Serve. Please keep in mind that I may be working on a commission ahead of yours. You are welcome to ask for updates if there hasn't been one in awhile.• Reposting and sharing the artwork you have commissioned from me is fine, but please give credit to “@orbital-inclination on tumblr.”• Please provide visual references. If you don’t have a visual reference, a detailed description will do.
The Process/Edits/What you can expect from me, etc.:Before I begin work on your commission I expect to be given details on what you would like me to do. Character(s). Poses. The Situation the character(s) find themselves in. Scene details. Mood. Color palette if applicable. Etc. At this stage it’s important to provide me with any references you want me to use. Please note that if you do not provide me with details, I will take creative liberties at my own discretion. The work might not turn out how you expect.Once I sketch out the work, I will send you a rough draft.* At this point, you can request changes. I will allow three (3) revisions but no more after that.*If you are commissioning me for a sketch, the same rule applies.Once I’ve started work on the lineart I won’t accept revisions. You may request changes to coloring, lighting/rendering, but at the stage where I begin coloring I will no longer accept revisions to the lineart or the base sketch on which everything is built.
My policy on Refunds:If you decide to cancel your commission before I’ve started, and you’ve already paid, I will refund the full amount. If however, you decide to cancel your commission after I’ve already started, I will charge you for the work I’ve already done. (If I’ve already drawn out a sketch for example, you will be charged for the sketch.)Once I’ve finished a commission I will not refund you, even if you’re not satisfied with my work.By commissioning me, you agree to the terms and conditions listed above.Failure to follow through on your end of this agreement will result in a ban/block/report or complaint, and stern motherly disapproval.
